History of Boggo Road Gaol - December

By Boggo Road Gaol (Jail) (other events)

64 Dates Through Dec 31, 2014

ABOUT ABOUT

Be escorted as a “visitor” through the only remaining section of Boggo Road Gaol – Number Two Division. Few visitors ever got further than the prison’s gatehouse – except those guests who served time here.
On this guided tour you will go deep into the prison’s past to learn the history of this infamous institution. Walk the pathways, enter the yards, visit a cellblock – the secrets of “Boggo” will be revealed. Be told stories of:

• Infamous Inmates
• Escapes
• Lifers
• Executions
• Punishment
• Riots & Protests

As you move through the prison Prison Players bring Boggo to life, oblivious to tours in the present (Sunday mornings only).
